Andrea Filigheddu è nato a Olbia, in Sardegna, l'8 marzo 1997. Nicoletta Corbella è nata a Lomazzo, in provincia di Como, il 27 Giugno 1996. Fin da piccoli iniziano a viaggiare con le proprie famiglie e la loro passione per la scoperta di nuove realtà cresce negli anni. Durante gli studi superiori si avvicinano alla fotografia e scoprono il piacere di viaggiare in solitaria.
Nel 2017 intraprendono un percorso universitario in "Fotografia" in una classe internazionale presso lo IED di Milano, dove si incontrano. Durante questi anni continuano a viaggiare visitano Europa e Asia. Nel 2020 dopo 3 anni di studi, si laureano presso lo IED di Milano. Nicoletta, per la sua tesi sviluppa un reportage sulla vita dei camionisti in Europa che viene pubblicato dal giornale Tedesco “FLI MAG”.
Andrea, spinto dal suo interesse per la geopolitica, nell'ottobre 2020 parte per il Nagorno Karabakh dove documenta il conflitto per un mese. Avvicinatosi al mondo del reportage di guerra, nel febbraio 2022 Andrea parte per l'Ucraina, documentando l'inizio dell'invasione Russa del Paese, le sue foto del conflitto sono state pubblicate da varie testate Nazionali e Internazionali.
Nell’ autunno 2022 si preparano alla prima avventura insieme, un viaggio su una vecchia Fiat Panda, dall’ Italia al Tajikistan in Asia centrale, attraversando i Bacani, la Turchia e il Medio Oriente fino alle montagne del Pamir.
Il viaggio, iniziato nel dicembre 2022 doveva durare inizialmente sei mesi, ma i due viaggiatori sono ancora sulla strada verso l’Asia.

Andrea Filigheddu was born in Olbia, Sardinia, on 8 March 1997. Nicoletta Corbella was born in Lomazzo, in the province of Como, on 27 June 1996. From an early age, they began traveling with their families and their passion for discovering new realities grew over the years. During their high school studies, they approached photography and discovered the pleasure of traveling solo.
In 2017 they began a university course in "Photography" in an international class at the IED in Milan, where they met. During these years they continue to travel, visiting Europe and Asia. In 2020, after three years of study, they graduate from the IED in Milan. Nicoletta, for her thesis, developed a reportage on the life of truck drivers in Europe, which was published by the German newspaper "FLI MAG".
Andrea, driven by his interest in geopolitics, left for Nagorno Karabakh in October 2020 where he documented the conflict for a month. Approaching the world of war reportage, in February 2022 Andrea leaves for Ukraine, documenting the beginning of the Russian invasion of the country, his photos of the conflict were published by various national and international newspapers.
In autumn 2022, they prepare for their first adventure together, a journey on an old Fiat Panda, from Italy to Tajikistan in Central Asia, crossing the Balkans, Turkey and the Middle East all the way to the Pamir Mountains.
The journey, which started in December 2022, was originally supposed to last six months, but the two travelers are still on their way to Asia.
